So here in all their quilty splendor are my 2008 completed quilts.

Top L-R 1. Joseph Smith Quilt 2. Candy Pinwheels 3. Buttercream Quilt
Middle L-R 1. Blackberry Pie 2. Austin's Wedding Quilt 3. Little Boy Blue
Bottom L-R 1. Squares 2. Hurricane Ike Scrap Quilt 3. Zig-Zaggy 9 patch
I know there are lots of more prolific quilters out there. I only quilt when its fun. And unfortunately, I do try to stay out of the poor house.
I can't decide on my favorite. It's either the Candy Pinwheels or the ZigZaggy 9 patch. What do you think?
Thanks for stopping by! I can't wait to get busy and see what 2009 brings!
i'm going with the blackberry pie.
ReplyDeleteyum.
Wow...I love them all...hard to choose my favorite! Maybe Hurricane Ike...or maybe the 9-patch (love how you finished it)...or maybe the Joseph Smith...I can't decide! =)
ReplyDeleteZig Zaggy 9 Patch by a nose. Or a zig.
ReplyDeleteWell, this is a tough one! I love them all. But, if I had to choose, I would say either the Joseph Smith or the Zig-Zaggy 9 patch.
ReplyDeleteI think Buttercream is my favorite. But I love them all. You are amazing. Look at all you accomplished last year! I'm impressed!
ReplyDeleteI like them all, but my favourite is Austin's wedding quilt, almost tied with the Buttercream.
ReplyDeleteI have a bin of purple fabrics that I have been searching for the right pattern to use them on. When I saw you start your blackberry pie quilt, I dreamt of making one myself. I adore that quilt! And the name of it! YUM! Congratulations on such a productive year of beautiful sewing!
ReplyDeleteGasp! That blackberry pie takes my breath away. Best of show to you, my dear. (You have a lucky mama!)
ReplyDeleteblackberry pie is so amazing, but i love the pinwheels too and the squares.
ReplyDeleteI love the candy pinwheels. Just makes me happy looking at it. Great blog. I just ran across this while blog hopping. I will be back to visit often.
ReplyDeleteWow you have been busy. They all look fabulous! Happy quilting in 2009.
ReplyDeleteI like the squares the best. I also like the candy pinwheels.
ReplyDeleteHi there! I followed you back from my blog. (Thank you for the compliment on the cherries quilt.) My vote is... um... hard to pick, but I like the squares the best. There are polka dot fabrics in those squares!
ReplyDeleteYou really have a good eye for laying out scrappy looking quilts.
As everyone else has said, so hard to chose a favorite. I think I like squares the best. But I'm amazed at what you came up with for the 9 patch, I have the same squares, and still trying to figure out what to do with them.
ReplyDeleteOh man, if you're making 9 quilts like that a year, I think you're prolific. Those are fantastic, and it's fun to see a year's worth of quilts all at once. It shows your style better. Itty, bitty pieces. So talented, I'm glad I know you.
ReplyDeleteEach and every one beautiful!!!!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! So many wonderful quilts.
