Alright, I've been stewing over my plan for my two color quilt for a few weeks now. Here's what I've come up with. It is definitely inspired by this quilt that I linked to previously. I just tweaked it a teeny bit and am really excited to get going on this now.
I think it has a lacey, Victorian feel to it.
And it also reminds me of Blackberry pie with a lattice top crust. Yum.
Time to get cutting! I've got to get a move on if I'm going to have this completed by August 1!

I love it! Also, I'm fully planning on you coming up for the quilt show in September. You will need to bring this, and all your other quilts, with you!
Beautiful!
Wow! What a beautiful design. Is it legal to share? I would love to make that. Just wondering!
This one will be gorgeous. Can't wait to see the fabric.
WOW, this is gorgeous. What block did you use?
wow - how pretty! how did you make the pic?
That is beautiful! It looks hard - I'm very impressed! I think you will do a great job because the triangles remind me of the snow flake quilt you've already done (so well too!). Good luck. Please post blocks as they get done!
The main block is called Stepping Stones. I found it from that linked quilt picture and also from the book 1000 Great Quilt Blocks by Maggi McCormick Gordon (GREAT book!). The picture here is made with EQ6.
Thanks for all your kind words!
And Gloria- legal to share? Do you mean for the Two color challenge? I'm sure that'd be within the rules to do the same quilt if you'd like.
It's going to be delicious!
No, I was thinking would you share the pattern/design with me? I love it and don't EQ! I'm not computer literate!!!! Do you have instructions to share. I really do love it!
Thanks, gloria :>)
gloria, your email address isn't on your profile so i'll respond on here again. :)
i've never written up instructions but i'll write up some as i work on this one.
i'm glad you like it so much!
Oh that is so generous of you. I'm not even sure why my email address doesn't show up....it is strawberryhousequilting@mssblue.net
Thank you so much!!!!
